Goatblitz 2010 - Divisional Results/Final

(Apologies for the delay.)
The final divisional results:
Congrats to Innis and, er, me, for winning the divisions. It's a shame that a few games went unplayed, but I guess Goatblitz has declined in popularity since its unveiling. Thanks everyone for playing, and hopefully enjoying, this tourney. Now, all that remains is the Final round, to decide the overall standings.

Surely it should be 4th v 5th to reward the best performers in each division.

I'm thinking it's A1 v. B1, A2 v. B2, ..., A8 v. B8 so that you play the person who finished in the same place as you in the other division, given that this is only one game and not some sort of knockout.

Sorry if I've misunderstood everyone's ideas, but I couldn't think of a better way of sorting it than A1 vs B1 etc. Also, this tourney has dragged on for so long people are probably getting bored of it, so a knockout would just prolong the boredom.

3rd-place play-off result: Adam Gillard 2-0 Jack Hurst
Adam Gillard 88 - 80 Jack Hurst
Really not much in this; I won by virtue of getting 2/3 conundrums, despite Jack winning 3 letters rounds courtesy of darrenic sevens (NOONERS; EULOGIA; ALEMBIC).
Jack Hurst 82 - 94 Adam Gillard
A few blemishes on the scoreboard this time, but again I got 2/3 conundrums to secure the bronze medal (I'll expect it in the post, Kai). I picked for COLANDERS in R2 so Jack and I could reminisce about the annoying kid who got it on the telly recently. My ADJUDGE beat Jack's JUDGED; his PANDECTS beat my DECANTS and my LINISHES (pencil) set up another crucial final conundrum.
Two very close games; thanks for playing Jack, especially since you've got the finals on your mind.
