Pick 'n' Choose Quiz

Post by JasonCullen »

After a lot of inquisitive thoughts and hours of long,hard preparation, I have finally come up with another of my own quizzes peculiarly called Pick 'n' Choose. The aim of the game is to answer 25 general knowledge based questions by choosing one of the 75 potential answers. Only 1/3 of these potential answers are legitimate ones and the other 50 are there to mislead you :evil:. Please set your answers out in the usual list format from 1-25 and please attempt all the questions even if they are wild guesses! Please type down your answer along with its reference number and preferably in bold print to make it easier for me to read :D . Fill in your answers like the incorrect ones shown below;
1. 2. Microsoft
2. 37. Guitar
3. 3. Calcium

Please do not cheat because this is NOT a team quiz and each player will be marked individually. I appreciate this quiz is much more difficult and it requires a lot more thought but please give it your best shot :D

I hope you enjoy my new quiz and you all have until Saturday to solve the answers to the best of your ability ;)

N.B. Answers can NOT be amended after being submitted so please make sure you are happy with your answers before submitting them. Cheers :)

An interesting quiz, although it is basically just a convoluted three-choice multiple choice quiz. (I would insert a smiley face with a tongue sticking out here but no-one actually does that in real life)

Anyway, my answers:

1. 57. Russia
2. 64. Apple
3. 15. India
4. 72. Snoop Dogg
5. 59. Pig
6. 34. Australia
7. 20. South Park
8. 53. Princess Beatrice
9. 22. 1992
10. 25. Heads
11. 36. Fallopian Tubes
12. 3. Calcium
13. 74. Nokia
14. 69. Ghana
15. 11. Bahrain
16. 9. Drum
17. 52. Tokyo
18. 35. 1960
19. 55. Baines
20. 49. 1906
21. 68. Condoms
22. 60. Blue
23. 46. Robert Burns
24. 13. Denmark
25. 44. Eminem

Edit: changed a couple of answers after further thought

Took me a while to realise that Melbourne, Ethiopia and Kenya weren't the options for the answer to Q1.
But now that I've got the idea right, here's my feeble attempt.

Interesting quiz, Jason. I'm enjoying them. But, as with the others of your quizzes that I've attempted, far too many are pure quesses.

1. 57. Russia
2. 64. Apple
3. 15. India
4. 44. Eminem
5. 8. Dog
6. 58. Sri Lanka
7. 20. South Park
8. 31. Princess Eugenie
9. 22. 1992
10. 47. Arms
11. 36. Fallopian Tubes
12. 3. Calcium
13. 74. Nokia
14. 69. Ghana
15. 11. Bahrain
16. 37. Guitar
17. 33. New York City
18. 41. 1916
19. 55. Baines
20. 35. 1960
21. 68. Condoms
22. 30. Red
23. 46. Robert Burns
24. 39. Norway
25. 73. Lisa Minnelli

23. 46. Robert Burns
24. 13. Denmark
25. 48. David Gest

Thanks, Jason, good stuff. About the right difficulty, I reckon - I only knew about ten for certain, sort of knew a few more and guessed the rest. I also liked the juxtaposition of answers 23 and 24 in your list and hope it was intentional ;)

Another excellent quiz Jason. Reminds me of that game they used to play on National Lottery where they sat in hotseat and had to pick a numbered answer off the wall. The more questions they got right the further they went on holiday... or something. Here's my attempt anyway. Most of them complete guesses:

01. 54. John Steinbeck
02. 64. Apple
03. 15. India
04. 12. Kanye West
05. 08. Dragon
06. 19. Germany
07. 20. South Park
08. 31. Princess Eugenie
09. 22. 1992
10. 25. Heads
11. 36. Fallopian Tubes
12. 03. Calcium
13. 74. Nokia
14. 51. Kenya
15. 56. Brunei
16. 09. Drum
17. 52. Tokyo
18. 16. 1970
19. 27. Barnes
20. 04. 1926
21. 68. Condoms
22. 23. Pink
23. 46. Robert Burns
24. 13. Denmark
25. 48. David Gest

I think its more fun to make up incorrect answers - ie American Rapper 'Fallopian Tubes' had to scrap his UK tour after being denied entry by government officials. Perhaps its just me.

Glad to hear that I've got at least 10. :)

I think that those of us who gave answers in bold, as requested, should have our scores doubled.

Very much enjoying your quizzes, Jason. Looking forward to what you're coming up with next.
