Very close this one, with the lead changing hand quite often and only a couple of rounds in which we shared the points, however I knew I had to get the conundrum before the last letter, unfortunately I couldn't see it and Edward wins by a point.

This one was a different affair, with Edward spotting all 3 conundrums and me getting none. A lovely pencil finished the game as a contest as shown by me in round 14. I definitely lived up to my rating of 1219, whilst Edward's 1006 is a joke for someone of his standard. Well done Edward, you deserved the victory.

This is exactly the kind of tension we were trying to create when we designed this variant all those years ago. Nice when these things work out.
