Following this quote from Marc Meakin:

on Monday's recap I decided to start a poll to decide who you're favourite is. Please base this purely on quality of recap (although you can choose the parameters) not who you like most as a person.

I've included everyone that has recapped so far this series, maybe we could have an all time poll at a future date.

They've all got different styles, and it would be very boring if all recaps followed the same style.

I think it is quite unfair to pick out any one of these five, and I therefore abstain.

Since I am one of those, I'd better abstain too.

Completely agree. I try to be slightly humorous in my approach and don't take it too seriously, some people might like that side of my recaps but I'm sure many others do not. Fundamentally a recap should tell the story of an edition of Countdown and mine are often factually incorrect making a poor recap.

That said, I voted for Ryan.

I like everybody's, but for different reasons.

James is more statistical whereas Ryan is more humourous for example.

None of these losers are a patch on Corby's or Bentley's (especially in terms of span).

I think that anyone who spends the time writing a recap should be commended especially as since I have been unable to watch the show for the last 3 weeks due to illness, this has been the best way for me to get my countdown fix, so thanks guys.
Would like to see some ladies have a go though.

I agree with Howard - they've all got some top merits.

More laydees? Brilliant idea - we can add those nice little touches like how they seem to be feeling, what they're wearing, their make-up, and skip out the numbers solutions altogether. Everyone knows girls are no good at maths

I am not going to vote either. All recappers do an excellent job albeit with different styles and it would be nice for one of them to come out on top but not nice for the person who comes bottom who clearly would not deserve it. Hope you remove this poll Douglas.
