So, after nearly 11 hours, our brain society have found just 2 deliberate mistakes.

Looks like I'll be keeping the Robinson's Squash for myself.

Till tomorrow, bye bye.

1) Not sure if the bit of commentary I've highlighted in round 9 is an actual mistake or if it's just confusing.
2) Quieted is a 7. (Having not watched the show I don't know if it was declared as a 6, an 8 or whether quieted isn't actually a word)
3) You don't do Friday recaps.

Douglas Wilson wrote:1) Not sure if the bit of commentary I've highlighted in round 9 is an actual mistake or if it's just confusing. - It's confusing and not a mistake.
2) Quieted is a 7. (Having not watched the show I don't know if it was declared as a 6, an 8 or whether quieted isn't actually a word) - Quieted is a word, but was declared as a 6, so is correct.
3) You don't do Friday recaps. - Yes, Mike, when he appears does Fridays, so that is also correct.
Just 3 to go now. I've just realised that I forgot to include a bonus mistake that I entered late on, so in total there are 11, and 8 have been found, so there are 3 left.

Can't believe I've only just noticed this one (and that no one noticed it before).

I really should do something useful with my bank holiday now!

I noticed but wasn't playing. Also, while I'm here, ALLSGONE and GALLEONS appear to be the wrong way round.

Wrong. I don't give a toss about grocer's apostrophe, as you can read. There's still 1 more out there.

Well done to Craig and commiserations to Douglas & Gavin who got most of them, and to James, David & Oliver for trying.

Strictly speaking, none of you are the winners, because the original task was for ONE person to find all the mistakes, not a whole bunch.

I decided to just give the "prize" to Craig, because he got the last one.

Yeah, they do. But, I never claimed to be a good competition organiser. And Craig hasn't even got his prize yet. I'm better at winning competitions, rather than creating them. ;)
