Spoilers For Wednesday February 10th 2010

by James Robinson
The week has entered its middle stage which means a nice double dose of Robinson Recaps will shortly be in the offing.
Quite interesting this news about Clarke Carlisle, the Burnley defender, who will be on the show in 2 weeks, because unless he's really rubbish, which I shouldn't think he is (after all he has passed an audition), he'll probably score more points than Burnley will this season.
But that's the future, for now we should concentrate on the present and our very own Craig Chittenden is still in the champions' chair after that relatively straightforward win over Alan yesterday, but can he reach 3 in a row or will he implode
I certainly hope that option 1 is the correct answer
See you for the recap later.

This reminds me of those really annoying automated phone systems where they explain the options really badly and then unexpectedly put you on the spot and ask you to choose one.

Saw EPITOMIST. I didn't even bother to look it up because it sounded so unlikely.

The gap between todays smallest and largest number targets was just 24. This isn't a record for the 15 round era, but it's rarely been beaten. Searching through about 95% of games since the start of Series 49, I can find only five where the gap was smaller, the smallest being 12 in game
3878.
Of the remaining four, two fell in the same week during Series 50 (
3518 and
3521), and the other two on consecutive days in Series 59 (
4686 and
4687).

In round 6, Dictionary Corner actually offerred REVISES, PENISES and RIPENESS, to which Jeff responded "Did penises jump straight out at you, Susie?" Such a shame they didn't keep it in.

Alternative to 2nd Numbers:
(100 + 75 + 4 - 7) x (10 - 8) =
344
2 Alternatives to 3rd Numbers:
((25 + 50) x 5) - 7 =
368
((50 - 1) x 7) + 25 =
368
Well done again, Craig.

Shame on the 3rd 90s score, when getting the conundrum would've got you the ton, but I'm sure you'll do it soon. Hopefully, tomorrow, when its my 2nd recap of the week.
GLOATED in round 7, BARGE in round 12 and DOUSED in round 13, all DC equallers.
