I had Sandmen rejected recently, and was wondering...

sandman noun (the sandman). This implies the plural should be SANDMANS.

I have complained to OUP about several of these (e.g. ALDERPERSONS) and they said they would review them, so this may be fixed in the new (2010?) edition.

Nope. Tried that in the daily duel a couple of days ago. Maybe there is only one sandman!!!!

That's because it's not in JimDic. There are a few errors outstanding in it but according to the dictionary Susie should allow it.
