Of course, you know when he left, because you wished him a nice holiday. So let's just say he left on Italy's St. Charles Day, which will be on the 4th November.

Well, normally if something untoward goes on in the country, Gordon Brown comes home early from his holidays so.............

Did you actually read this extract from the award winning adult fiction novel "a suitable boy"?

I thought not.

Does Jason read anybody's post and take advice from them/understand them?

It`s not a problem.
Posters on here can be assured that somebody will come along and correct their work.
Such a comfort.

Yes sir, Jon. I did read what Kirk said, but I'm sure he gets the drift of this mockery.

In my dream, it's Monday night and I have to get serious.

Brucie! Drew!

Oh, beat it!

Brucie won't "strictly come dancing" with me, and my price was wrong!

It's not really a roll if you warn someone they're about to get rolled.

Apart from if it's a sausage roll. When someone warns you they are about to give you a sausage roll, you might expect one of those things in pastry which we eat here. But sometimes you are surprised, as what you actually get is a bread roll with a sausage inbetween. This can also feasably be called a "sausage roll", and it is different to a hot dog, as a hot dog is usually one of those funny soft sausages, and always a long thin roll. So, I would add the caveat "It's not really a roll if you warn someone they're about to get rolled . . . unless it's a sausage roll"

Those are Brucie's sounds too!

Whenever someone loses one of his pricing games, those are exactly the sounds you hear!
