I don't think I'll ever be able to manage number 3...

In completing the unit the student has demonstrated the ability to:

1. Walk to the local bus stop.

2. Stand or sit at the bus stop and wait for the arrival of a public bus.

3. Enter the bus in a calm and safe manner.

4. Be directed to a downstairs seat by a member of staff

5. Sit on the bus and observe through the windows.

6. Wait until the bus has stopped, stand on request and exit the bus

Don't worry, Dinos, I'll get you a straitjacket for you. You never need worry.

Hang on a sec, if everyone remains seated until the bus has stopped, it'll only stop at the end of the line. You need to get up and go to the front of the bus, so that the driver knows to stop at the next stop. Or at least that's how it works around here.

I'm even more worried...

1. Walk to the local bus stop.
Sometimes I cycle
2. Stand or sit at the bus stop and wait for the arrival of a public bus.
I get mine from the bus station
3. Enter the bus in a calm and safe manner.
Can't as I am too big for the normal seats, so I have to rush to get that sideways seat at the front
4. Be directed to a downstairs seat by a member of staff
No staff on buses where I live, just a driver
5. Sit on the bus and observe through the windows.
Sometimes I like to read or sleep on long journeys
6. Wait until the bus has stopped, stand on request and exit the bus
Here, you press the bell and then stand immediately without being requested to.

Seems I have no hope of earning my certificate :(

Perhaps Charlie would consider giving out certificates to forum members who post in a carefully considered manner, demonstrating the ability to be variously
1. a bit sarky.
2. a bit witty
3. a bit sad

;) ;) ;)
