As a companion piece to the 'celebrity twin' thread, which famous people died on your birthday. This might be a tougher ask, as Wikipedia lists about half as many deaths on my birthday as it does births (are half of all 'notable' people from history still alive? or are people more likely to add contemporary figures), and most people are probably more likely to know of people who were alive at the same time as then. Wikipedia lists nobody who died on my exact birthday, but those who died on the same day in another year include Nostradamus, Robert Peel (former prime minister and founder of the police force), actor Jimmy Stewart, motorcycle racing legend Joey Dunlop, and The Godfather author Mario Puzo. Who can beat that?

Yep. Only one for me on this one - Silvana Armenulic (1939-1976), a 1970s Yugoslavian actress, killed in a road accident.

No-one died exactly on my birthday and the only person of note was Pope Gregory V in 999.

Just read Bobby Robson has died. He was born on my birthday with a gap of 55 years.

No famous births or deaths on my birthday that I can find. Aneurin Bevan died three days earlier.

Easy one for me to remember.

Princess Diana died on my birthday (31st August)

A guy called World Stock Exchange died on my birthday.

Probably the two most famous are:

Some obscure celebrity called Jade Goody died on my 26th birthday.
