Java problems

Post by Matthew Green »

Can anyone help me with this. While freeing up space on my CPU a few weeks ago I seem to have lost Java. I have tried installing it (version 6 update 13) but it always stops and says it was interrupted before it could be completed.

Any ideas on what to do?

This is fairly generic advice, but try typing the exact text of the error message into Google. You'll probably find 300 people all with the same problem but one of them might've found a solution.

Also you can try deleting C:\Program Files\Java or the equivalent on your system.

Also Matt, for what it's worth you must be using an old installer you'd downloaded. Version 6 Update 14 has been out for a good few days.
