Podcast 7: Charlie Reams and the Halfwit Prince

Post by Charlie Reams »

It's been a while coming, but the recent flurry of exciting Countdown events has prompted us to get down to doing a new podcast, and the final one of Series 60. No special guests this time; just us chatting about shit, and some banging choonz from Ben Hunter. Topics covered include... ah, I don't remember.

Enjoy!

I really enjoyed this one (and not merely because I got namechecked twice). There was plenty of stuff for the two of you to talk about and the ratio of actual talk to awkward silence seems to be improving all the time. Plus, Jono's "wordy-nerdy" is the funniest gag in the history of C4C podcasting.

I liked the Kit Kat section. Maybe you should dedicate more time to discussing chocolate/biscuit snacks on the next podcast :p

I think Charlie Reams and Andrew Collins should do a job swap on their podcasts . . . or maybe they already have?

I listened to this in it's entirety last night - it was brilliant!

It was the first one I'd listened to, and I look forward to the next.

Worth a listen, as always. I thought it dragged a bit early on, but then it seemed to get going and I found myself really enjoying it.

Must get round to doing those Harvey Freeman octostats soon - thanks for bringing it up again, guys!

First one I've listened to and it was so much better than I thought it would be. Originally meant to have it on in the background whilst revising, but ended up just sitting there listening to it. :)

When's the next one?

These are quality. A lot of things that are meant to be funny I don't find funny but these podcasts always make me laugh.

Good to hear it. You must have an inverse sense of humour, because the podcasts are categorically not funny.

I listened to this while I was bed-bound the other week, it cheered me up and made me stop thinking about the CHRONIC AGONY. Thanks for playing my tune too :D.
