Game of The Week

I've not added a date to the title since GOTW seems to have died so this will be the Game of the Week thread every week.
Both on for a max game and then both muck it up - comes to a crucial which I somehow manage to get before Chris (makes a change).

Does anyone want to take over the running of this feature? It doesn't involve anything more than reading the nominations each week and starting the poll.

Just to keep y'all informed, there will be a mega catchup coming eventually, probably released in dribs and drabs so as not to overwhelm. The current delay is caused by me leaving the laptop on which I'd compiled the games on the other side of the country and not wanting to go through it all again, but I can definitely do the most recent polling weeks shortly.

It does involve some browsing through the archive as many of the best games don't get recommended. Despite the promised catchup, I would appreciate someone taking over GOTW as I seem to be busier and busier these days (stupid adulthood).

Wow blown away by that one! Practically perfect play from Kirk with the only missed word being a sexily obscure 9. Nice to see Conor back in action as well

Well, it's the (supposedly) only 17 max 9 rounder and the most darrenic perfect game, but not the highest scoring
