This was something of a barren week. Lots of good games, but couldn't find anything really spectacular despite looking long and hard. Here's the contenders

Apterous Prime v Nick Wainwright - Beating Apterous Prime on a condrum attack the way he's currently set up takes some doing, so this is excellent work from Nick.

Martin Bishop v Michael Wallace - Two GOTW debutants take centre stage with an adrenalin pumping 15 rounder, Michael stealing victory on the conundrum

Joes Denniss v Callum Laddiman - Judging by this game, there's a thriving subcommunity of unlimited players on apterous. Playing Callum at unlimited gives me a chance to experience what it's like to play against me, as the little bastard has clearly memorised all the words.

Andrew Hulme v Jimmy Gough - Another new face on apterous in Andrew Hulme, and one who's going to leave a considerable impression if this excellent goatdown's anything to go by.

Kirk Bevins v Damian Eadie A closely fought speedgoat, included at least partially because I was amused by the idea of Kirk declaring a 3

Game 4 should be Hulme vs Gough, not Laddiman.
