It should be Chappers tbh.
Which leaves a MotD 2 vacancy which Colin has done before

I'm sure he could do both. Countdown 50 days a year, Match of the Day another 35 or so. And never a fixture clash.

Unless I'm talking absolute tosh I'm fairly sure the studios are next door too. He definitely could do both. If he wants the job I hope he gets it, he'd be great.

Agreed.

Don't see him wanting it. He's previously called his time presenting MotD2 the most miserable of his career. Think it's almost certainly going to be either Mark Chapman or Alex Scott (although her BBC contract ends this year as well)

Don't know about Match of the Day, but they need a new Archbishop of Canterbury.

Maybe Lineker could do that.
He wasn't too bad with crosses and is a big fan of Jesus's (Arsenal forward)

Can’t see Colin leaving Countdown for 20 years tbh.

I'm sure he could do all three. Countdown 50 days a year, Match of the Day another 35 or so, Archbishop another 52 or so plus special events. And never a fixture clash.

The MOTD-Countdown pipeline only flows one way. Lineker as next Countdown host?

Damian must've negotiated a hell of a budget increase if that's the case.

Colin gets paid 700K for his countdown gig, no way is he leaving.

Bit mean.
I'm very outgoing I stare at other people's shoes rather than my own in social situations
