The old Countdown favourite Agoutis declared by Viraj bags him 7 points............but there was a gem missed all an 8 with Solatium

Viraj is well and truly snookered when it comes to this numbers solve that bags him another 10 points

Steve Davis was the first person to officially make a televised maxumum break in 1982, he went on to win 6 world championships in the 1980s and many other tournaments as well, Steve retired in 2016 from playing snooker he is now a popular broadcaster for the BBC a regular pundit and commentator for the World Snooker Championships, outside of snooker he is a DJ he did a set at Glastonbury 2016.

Cliff Thorburn was the first overseas champion winning the World Championships in 1980, he became the first player to make a maximum break in the 1983 World Championships but lost the final to then World no 1 Steve Davis, he retired in 1996 but played his last game in 2022 at the grand old age of 74.

Ronnie O'Sullivan recorded the fastest ever maximum break in 5 mins and 8 seconds in the 1997 World Snooker Championships he lost in second round to Darren Morgan, Ken Doherty emerged as the eventual winner making him the second player outside the UK to win the world championships. Ronnie O'Sullivan is still active in snooker with no plans to retire as of yet.


Honorable Mentions : Kirk Stevens, Jimmy White, Mark Williams, Stephen Hendry , Ken Doherty ,Mark Selby, James Wattana, Mark Allen and many more...... all made maximum breaks.

A very risky 9 from Viraj that is disallowed by Susie puts Norman back in it by reducing the arrears to 10 points, but there were a few 8s again nothing to squabble over !

C2 buzzes on 3.9 seconds to say UNPAINTED which is correct.
Final Score: 103–78 (max 135)

Not a bad game by all accounts........ Viraj who scored 103 points is improving by the day..... Norman's 78 points by no means is a pretty respectable score...... he ultimately had the last laugh by solving the conundrum he had some really good spots that were worthy of a teapot win he will happy with the goody bag and the Countdown experience.......join me again to see how Viraj goes on in his next game ........bye for now
