A good 8 from James with Outrages.......but there was a rather interesting 9 with Tutorages............you guessed it I spotted this one !

Both Champion and Challenger blank this round..........but Ms Riley shows us all how it is done

Not the best round for Adrian as Susie disallows is his 8...........James gets to score with his 5............but Susie and co get to shine with their 9 Salmonoid...............you guessed it....... I spotted this one !

Round 6: 50, 100, 75, 3, 9, 1. Target: 595.

C1: 595. (9 − 1) × 75 − 3 − 100 ÷ 50 (10)

Score: 22–18 (max 70)

A good solve from Adrian that gives him the lead in this tight contest

Score: 44–40 (max 94)

Top marks in the numbers department.........not too taxing when it comes to this solve

5s all round..............meanwhile in DC they are enjoying a trip to the seaside...........they have another 7 which is the anagram of Seaside.....Disease !

James needs something from the next two rounds to force a crucial conundrum and hopefully take the teapot......let's see how they both play out


Round 14: 25, 50, 75, 5, 9, 4. Target: 648.

C1: 646. (75 − 4) × 9 + 5 + 50 ÷ 25 (7)
C2: 648. Mistake in working.
RR: 648. (75 − 5 + 50 ÷ 25) × 9 (10)
Score: 75–51 (max 133)

Sadly James misses the target, Adrian takes advantage of the situation with his 2 away solve.........meanwhile Ms Riley shows us how it is done by using the 9 times table..............but for James it is Game Over !

Final Score: 75–51 (max 143)

No one buzzes. The answer was GREYHOUND.

So the conundrum goes unsolved for our champion and challenger.............neither of them get out of the starting blocks like a whippet ! Another good win for Adrian but take nothing away from James who had some good spots sadly they were not enough to match Adrian......join me again to see if Adrian can make it win No 3........in the meantime it is bye for now !
