Score: 85–77 (max 116)

A very unfortunate risk from Adam with his 8...........Tom scores with his 7 in this rather tight contest and extends his lead by 8 points......but there was a fair few 7s........again not a lot to complain about

Nice and easy this numbers solve.......but not the one Tom wanted........ not too taxing this solve........that sets up nicely for a crucial conundrum......who will buzz first ?????

Will it be The Burford Bulldozer ???????

or

The Bolton bruiser ?????????

Adam buzzes on 3.5 seconds to say BROCHETTE which is correct.
Final Score: 95–97 (max 136)

What a cracking contest this has been.......... it could of gone either way...........Firstly congratulations to Adam who now earns the right to play Series 81 Champion James Haughton.....in another battle of the series winners and unbeaten contestants.........Secondly take nothing away from Tom who put in an admirable performance he can be proud of what he has achieved......Monday will see the return of Series 82 champion Luke Johnson-Davies and Series 79 runner up Martin May.........it should be a thrilling contest........but in the meantime it is bye for now !!
