People and Organisations that benefitted from Pandemic

Post by Marc Meakin »

OK last new topic, for today, it occurred to me that I greatly benefitted from the Pandemic in an abstract way.
Prior to lockdown working at a John Lewis in Ashford 20 miles away involving lots of cycling and catching 2 trains.
I redeployed to Canterbury Waitrose less than 3 miles away. , although physically more demanding and less breaks I got up at the same time but am home by 1.30ish compared to 4pm from John Lewis.
When John Lewis closed I secured a permanant place and had to cry crocodile tears along with those genuinely upset at choosing redundancy rather than redeploy ING to a Waitrose.

Also home shopping deliveries and Deliveroo, Just Eat etc.
Im sure there are others like webcam makers.
Also people with anxiety were ahead of the curve during lockdown
