Things you can't un-notice

Post by JackHurst »

Things that you were once oblivious to, but now you noticed it one time, you can't help but notice them every time.

I will start with a couple.

Matt Bellamy's incredibly loud breathing in during pretty much every Muse song. Honestly it sounds like he is singing with hiccups.

Whenever I eat an apple, without fail after the first bite, a huge pool of apple juice forms in the concave but where the stalk is. How is this happening?

When you haven't seen an older relative for years, how big their ears have become.
Tom Cruise is always running in his films (well maybe not Born on the 4th of July.) so it ruins my enjoyment as I am anticipating it

The bass drum peddle on Led Zeppelin's Since I've Been Loving You squeaks. I read about it in article on music production and now I can't not hear it. And now you won't be able to either.

Having just watched Moonage Daydream the artistic doc about David Bowie.
How bad were his teeth in the early days, yellow and crooked, much better in the 80s where he sorted himself out

Richard Hammond's saliva noises when he talks. The arrow in the FedEx logo. The amount of overdubbed noise when people in films run with assault rifles. Plugs turned on with nothing in them.

In the first Street Fighter game, at the start of a round, the announcer says "Michael". Not "Fight".
I'm not dead yet. In a rut right now because of stress from work. I'll be back later in S89. I also plan to bring back the Mastergram - if I can find a way to run a timer or clock through pure MediaWiki without having to upload to Vimeo every time.
