I think you need to take a break from the forum. Really not cool.

I think this is a bit of an overreaction.

It would certainly do him good.

It still doesn't sit very well with me as a comment, even if I possibly judged it a bit severely in my half-awake state.

The question on squares of 4 chips from 4*3 chips had a couple of unsuccessful arguments; the answer was 6. Some argued you could make 2 3*3 squares, but that would make 2 squares of 9 chips (8 on the perimeter and 1 in the middle, read the question!). Others argued you could make two squares rotated 45 degrees, but that would also leave a chip in the middle, leaving a + or x of 5 chips. The question clearly stipulated squares of 4 chips.

I think the 1% Club has too many questions where 30 seconds isn't enough time.

I disagree. The jackpot winners prove otherwise. It’s good practice to try to solve them all without pausing the TV.

I get more fun pausing , just like I do at the Countdown conundrum.
I usually only pause as the time runs out as I like to try and solve in real time but prefer to solve rather than get told

Last show on 25th May before it breaks up for the summer and autumn, which was recorded in 2022 (as was last week’s). But it will be back at Christmas time. It will feature Yinrun from last year’s Big Brother (ITV 2 version).
