Best and Worst National Anthems

What do you think? I think most are pretty awful, but the UK's God Save the Queen is right up there in terms of terribleness. Really dreary.

As for others, there's a part of the Dutch national anthem where the tune sounds too much like "And a partridge in a peartree" for it to be taken seriously. But of the ones you're likely to hear fairly often, definitely think the French one is better than most.

France is definitely top tier when it comes to national anthems. Britain's is a dirge, agreed. Monaco's is pretty fun as it sounds a bit like the ShinRa March from Final Fantasy VII. And South Africa's is very beautiful in its multiple languages.

Italy is best, then Germany. Still didn't make up for the Schumacher Ferrari era being tedious as fuck though.

UK's is easily the worst. I hate Ireland's Call, the compromise anthem the Irish rugby team uses because the actual Irish anthem is considered "inappropriate".

This is quite a good YouTube channel by the way. Interestingly I went to the Monaco one and in the comments they were talking about Charles Leclerc. Fair enough, there aren't many famous people from Monaco. Then I go to Russia and they're talking about Daniil Kvyat! Everyone's obsessed with Formula One!
