Hi all

I have written a Guide to the upcoming Olympics, with previews of all of the 339 events. It has all the likely medal prospects, plus every individual or team from Team GB and Team Ireland. Enjoy!

Nice one Ollie!

All about the athletics for me....just hope times and performances don't suffer too much from having no crowds

Anyone who was at the World Athletics Championship will at least be used to it:

And great work Ollie! What do your predictions make as the combined medal table?

These were the top 15 on a non-final version. Think the final version for GB has about 16-24-24 (G-S-B)

NOC Go-Si-Br
USA 51-37-26
CHN 36-21-18
ROC 24-34-21
GER 21-8-12
JPN 20-18-20
AUS 19-10-14
GBR 17-25-28
NED 13-16-11
FRA 13-13-16
HUN 11-4-5
ITA 8-15-18
KOR 7-3-12
NZL 6-4-5
BRA 5-5-8
UKR 6-5-5

(TUR 5-5-8, ESP 1-11-10 and CAN 1-9-9 are the other countries with more than 15 medals)

It's always possible from an athlete as talented as KJT but her form post-injury has been patchy at best. The heptathlon is difficult to call, with Nafi also failing to completely convince. The Americans look strong but have they peaked too early? Then there's Dadic, Preiner, Broersen, Kriszan and Rodriguez. Who knows!

A lot of work must have gone into that so well done Oliver! (I decided to break with the tradition of changing your name.)

I think we will finish above Australia but Japan to finish 4th or 3rd even
