* - There has been inside information which has since been confirmed that because Adam's extra ten points from a tiebreaker conundrum was accidentally factored in, this resulted in him being the #3 Seed when he should have been the #4 Seed. How this will affect the gameplay, we can only imagine until the episodes air...
Just like the last Series, Countdown has managed to produce yet another 1000-club member Luke (Yes, so coincidental except his surname is of course different!) as well as an Octochamp towards the end of Nick Hewer's nine-year tenure on the show although the outcome could have been so different and the drought would have continued until Anne Robinson takes over! It's truly the end of an era for a host we know for so long, and hosting for the longest time ever since Richard Whiteley's untimely passing on this version of the show. Let's also not forget Colin Murray standing in for him during the second lockdown and while he was getting vaccinated for COVID-19 too! Hopefully, let's end the Series off with a bang before Nick retires!
I'm not going to be sharing any predictions and will be writing a review of the episode each day as per the last five Series, so if you have any feel free to post them here!
