Just listened a few times and I can't hear "PERCEDING" at all. PRECEDING all the way. Stressing the first syllable of PRECEDING is by no means universal - I pronounce PRECEDING pretty much indistinguishably from PROCEEDING.David Williams wrote: ↑Thu May 13, 2021 11:13 pm Would someone with better sound quality on their TV and better hearing than me give some assurance that she didn't say PERCEDING.
