I did think potential octochamp for a number of rounds, but he seemed to fade off so on balance probably not. I've no idea who might be coming up in his potential run by the way.

I'd agree with you- he did get 8 maxes though, which is a very decent effort, and I don't think it helped that the 3rd number's was impossible and tricky to get near. I don't think Player 1 disgraced himself either with some of his word spots.

Would have got a max game if I had seen the only "DC" beater of the game too... Not had one in a good while...
