A particularly difficult conundrum for this stage of the contest, perhaps, but then it is the CoC!

Eeeeeeeee the first Sfyris and Brown recap of the Stelling era (or is it Brown and Sfyris I never can remember) Nice work. Already looking forward to recapping next week, even though I've seen the game in question.

A recap as swift and accurate as an arrow from a longbow.

Longbows are really cool.

I thought the conundrum was ABSURDIUM as soon as I saw it, as in reductio ad absurdium, possibly there's no I in it, I don't know.

One down, many more to go, I hope! Ka-chingy bada-bing! Here are my thoughts.

Round 1: Self-explanatory words found by the contestants, but I didn't know the word WIFEYS was offensive! One of my favorite contemporary R&B crooners, Usher, sang a song called "Wifey." If I told him it was offensive, I don't know what he would think! Susie, there's nothing else I can think of to say but, "Brilliant!"
Round 2: Junaid, you're not going to tell all your friends that you EXITED out of Countdown, are you? You are a winner, and winners never quit!
Round 3: Junaid, you're doing a great job trying to OVERSEE this game!
Round 4: Contestants, your words mean what? Well, at least they got you 7 points!
Round 5: Rachel, did you just feel like sitting back and relaxing during that numbers game?
Teatime Teaser #1: Junaid looked too young to solve that! Again, no lie!
Round 6: Tony, I guess you could say this game is a ROASTER, and that is no exaggeration at all!
Round 9: I thought QUAIDS was a word, and it may have just been a coincidence that Randy Quaid's name actually means something! I guess not.
Origins of Words: Susie, you always deliver that with a smile, and today was no exception! So, Jeff, where will you go on your "man-cation?" Are you going to appear on ESPN in America and commentate? I think you'd fit right in!
Teatime Teaser #2: Jon and Peter who?
Round 11: Jeff, you just never forget the meanings of some words, don't you?
Conundrum: I don't think it was ABSURDISM that neither of them got it! Conundrums can be quite difficult sometimes!
And Jeff, you didn't rush the end of the show today! You told the viewers to tune in at 3:25, and you said you would see them the following day! Good man! Keep it up!

Agreed. But admittedly it was only Jeff's second show, and had he probably not yet got into the habit of determining when and when not to explain a TTT clue. However, UK viewers would be much more likely to follow the clue than those from overseas, as witnessed below ...
Jason Larsen wrote:Teatime Teaser #2: Jon and Peter who?
Jon Snow and Peter Snow are cousins, Jason; they both work as presenters on UK television, in a similar position as that held by this week's DC guest Alastair Stewart.

Jason, Peter Snow retired and only does occasional work these days.
Jon Snow still works as a presenter.
