Everyone has predicted a Briers win tomorrow. Therefore, congratulations to our 7 leaders at the end of the first round!
Hasn't Eoin got one less, based on his post above?

I forgot to do an update after game 6, so he got a point for that and another for game 7.

So, it's the end of Round 1 and everyone called Game 8 correctly, so here are the standings:

8: Lucy, Mike, Gavin, Michael, Stitcher, Jono, Ben Pugh.
7: Howard, Dinos, Alan, Kirk, Eoin.
6: Jim, Paul, Oliver.
5: Ian, Stewart.

Well done to everyone who has a perfect score so far; but trust me, it gets a lot harder from here! And, now we're at the quarter-final stages, each game is worth 2 points. Here are the games to predict:

David O'Donnell vs Steven Briers
Junaid Mubeen vs Charlie Reams
Jon Corby vs Jonathan Coles
Kai Laddiman vs Nick Wainwright

This time, please send your predictions to me in a private message; I'll collate them here at the end so everyone can see WHAT WILL HAPPEN.

I haven't caught up with the games on tape but I got a message saying to put my predictions in. Presumably I'm too late for the first game but since I haven't seen it I'll predict them anyway.

Steven Briers (he might not even have won) beats David O'Donnell - I would predict David to win against Debbi Flack
Junaid Mubeen beats Charlie Reams (if he won)
Jon Corby beats Jonathan Coles
Nick Wainwright beats Kai Laddiman

That is the draw isn't it?

Edit - didn't notice it had to be PMed but that was because I didn't read any of the posts because I was still catching up on tape.

After 9 games, we finally have a clear leader! Only 4 people called the DoD/Briers game correctly, and of them only Lucy was already on 8/8, so she grabs the top spot. The other three were Kirk, Alan and Jim, so well done to them too. But, with the next 3 games worth 2 points each, it's still all to play for!

Anyway, here are the standings:

10: Lucy
9: Kirk, Alan
8: Michael, Gevin, Ben Pugh, Stitcher, Mike, Jono, Jim
7: Howard, Dinos, Eoin
6: Paul, Oliver
5: Stewart, Ian

Today's game divided opinion in the green room, with about half-half, but in this game we have 11 people predicting a win for me and 4 for Junaid. For tomorrow's game, everyone has predicted Corby except Stitcher. And for the last quarter final, 4 people predicted Kai and 11 people have gone for Nick. Let's see how it goes!

For those of you who entered the first round but forgot to enter the second round (Gevin and Ian Dent), it's not too late to predict the rest of the round.

Incidentally I might not be around on Tuesday evening, so if you want to PM me your semi-final predictions then I'll deal with it the next day. Cheers!

As far as I can remember, only 2 people actually went for me (and one of them was Mrs Kai!). :(

I've let this slip a bit during my computerless holiday, but thanks to everyone who sent me predictions, you will be credited eventually. The final, as the semi-finals, is worth 4 points, so get your predictions to me before tomorrow as the game comes to an exciting climax!
