After the time, but (75+3)*9+100+50/25 for the last numbers.

MATRONAGE to beat GARMENTO.
Nice job completing the octochampdom hat-trick, Dave!

I'm not dead yet. In a rut right now because of stress from work. I'll be back later in S89. I also plan to bring back the Mastergram - if I can find a way to run a timer or clock through pure MediaWiki without having to upload to Vimeo every time.

Also slightly late but (25-9) x 50 + 100/(75/3).Ray Wilding wrote: ↑Tue Sep 18, 2018 1:50 pm After the time, but (75+3)*9+100+50/25 for the last numbers.

This series is like series 59. No octochamps for ages and then a bunch at once

Nice one Dave - great chap who I and the viewers at home warmed to, for that I am sure. And what a way to round off your final game with a tasty 9

Well done to Dave! Wow, three in a row, I think that's the high point thus far of this Series...
I only have one thing to say today: Rachel's comment on "kicking youselves" in R9 shouldn't be really applied in this sort of situation (I mean, the average contestant won't think of 18 x 51 immediately...) My alternative which went one big round was: (10 + 9) x 50 - (6 x 5) - 2

I think Dave would normally have got that though. I wasn't surprised he didn't.Ryan Lam wrote: ↑Wed Sep 19, 2018 3:10 am Well done to Dave! Wow, three in a row, I think that's the high point thus far of this Series...

Feel free to correct me if I am wrong, but I think I did hear him say that he had it after Rachel said "you might kick yourselves" , so it could be inferred that he had it, or maybe did the 102 x 9 route, as did I.Gavin Chipper wrote: ↑Wed Sep 19, 2018 8:11 amI think Dave would normally have got that though. I took it that he spotted her method as soon as she said that. It is the obvious way really because the first thing you do is spot 18*50, then what do we need, oh, 18, that's 18*1 so all I need is a 1, and there you are. even my wife spotted that!Tom S wrote: ↑Wed Sep 19, 2018 8:26 amFeel free to correct me if I am wrong, but I think I did hear him say that he had it after Rachel said "you might kick yourselves" , so it could be inferred that he had it, or maybe did the 102 x 9 route, as did I.Gavin Chipper wrote: ↑Wed Sep 19, 2018 8:11 amI think Dave would normally have got that though.
