The new and improved Danielle Appreciation Thread

Post by Kai Laddiman »

She's OK, I suppose...(what mum, that's not enough of a compliment? Oh fine...) ;)

Danielle is great. She is very helpful, kind, caring, cool, and other good things. (OK mum, you can stop pointing the gun at my head now.) ;)

Danielle is lovely. How many women can make a sling into a fashion accessory?

I appreciate her too.
If I suddenly have a squirming baby on my lap it probably means that I should start paying it some attention and stop wasting my time messing around on a Countdown forum

She's the unit manager, so it's her job to make sure that everyone is where they should be when they should be. I guess being awesome is part of the job description, since Jay (her predecessor) is also a legend, even if he's not quite as pretty.

Do the members of the audience get to meet her, or is it just the contestants?

She sometimes gets a bit of chat from Dudley (the warm-up guy), and is generally in the studio during the recording, but (disgracefully!) she doesn't get a big intro like the "artists" (Jeff, Rachel, Susie and the guest.)

Very welcome. Apparently you're actually the unit assistant, but you can consider my mistake to be a vote for your promotion.

Apparently, she's Dudley's daughter...

It would be ncie to go down to the studio (if welcome ), to see if I can meet Danielle and even meet Rachel and Susie too.

Sure, but only if you haven't washed it.

This pretty much goes for any garment from any female forummers by the way.

Way to go to make a lady feel not very special any more. It's OK Danielle - I'll have it.

Nah, send it to me- I'll auction it off at COLIN, or have Corby take on Kirk at arm-wrestling or something. :)

I've been trying to think which prime time light entertainment television personality Danielle most reminds me of and I've decided on Tess Daly.

She's a glamorous blonde northerner who comforts the poor contestants in her backstage area (which I hope is still painted orange), whilst protecting them from the four nasty judges/producers. If Tess Daly wore Ugg boots it would be perfect.

Although Tess Daly always strikes me as being an appalling stuck up cunt (I've heard reports to back this up too), so the similarity ends there for me.

What's the difference between Tess Daly and a tampon?

No wait, wrong joke.

I just want to point out that I actually quite like Tess Daly, so despite what Corby says, it was meant as a compliment.

I know, but having just referenced Dudley's most disturbing joke about Danielle, I wanted to make sure I didn't add "you're a stuck up cunt" to the list.

Since going back into the studios and seeing Danielle again, I'd like to rejuvenate this thread.

I think Danielle is worth appreciating - does a wonderful job and doesn't mind sitting in the green room chatting to you while you're trying to spout off random 8s. Oh, and she has nice eyes. :D

At the risk of repeating myself, yes, Danielle is lovely. To quote Jono, "eyes I could get lost in like Doncaster city centre."
