Jack may have been a mimic of Roger Edwards in selecting the 6 in the bottom row (which can only be
done when the board is layed out that way), but missed that 450 is also 5x9x10 (4+1=5 and 7+3-1=9).

Got my 45 by doing 4 x 11 + 1 in the 450 round and made 936 in the 947. What was the closest possible I wonder?

Crossword tools says 936 is best - well done - I could only make 960.
