R2 Diadem as an alternative
R3 capture as an alternative but doesn't beat dictionary corner
R6 Foists as an alternative 6 but doesn't beat Susie's 7 letter
R10 Boy doesn't the champ show of doing the numbers in a flashy way!!

R11 Orange as an alternatove 6
R12 Handles as an alternative - which is at least in regular use in this country unike handies

Not only that, but a win tomorrow with a score of 95 or more, and he overtakes Charlie into number 1 position on the leaderboard. Five of his seven games so far have been 95 or more.

I only saw 5 seconds of round 9 cos I was at work, but EIDOLON as an equaller to WOODMEN and WOOLMEN! Didnt see MELODION though.
