So, the end is nigh for yet another series, but thanks to schedule alterations during the series, this series actually finishes in 9 days time on December 23.

So, today is the final preliminary of the series, before the rest of the week is taken up by the 4 quarter-finals.

Jamie Collyer is already at half-octochampdom, and will be hoping to win his 5th show, before Series 74 starts, which thanks to the CoC, will not be for another 6 weeks, on January 25.

David Baddiel carries on in DC before Sir Tim Rice makes his first appearance in DC for a decade on Thursday.
