About 3 minutes before the conundrum on TV, I got PUNCHLINE in a custom Goatdown Conundrum challenge

R14 alt.: (50 x 8) + (5 x 6) + 3 - 1 = 432 (but Martin's way was much classier).

That was probably my best performance, with the exception of round 4. It's really annoying, because I was playing with two re- words: REZONES and RESOLVE. Under the logic that "you can't solve something twice," I picked REZONES.

I'd like to point out that John Inverdale was super-nice and even more orange in person. While Paul Zenon basically said hello and then talked to Susie, John had a proper conversation with me about my degree and jobs I was applying for.

How many times does TADPOLES have to come up before you get it?

Of course, you can have resolve as in showing great resolve as opposed to resolve.

And you can resolve a problem, and vectors in maths. Resolve vectors and the world is your oyster I say. Recap for this episode coming up...
