So, the clocks are turning back, but one clock that never seems to turn back (well, not if you watch the show the normal way anyway) is the beloved Countdown clock.

All 4 octochamps have qualified so far, and if current champion Zac Goodman can double his current tally, then he'll join them too.

Hehe, well I didn't get the alternate 9 in the SMARTENED round, and I actually thought the counundrum was SUBSECTOR....

Also, an interesting alternative 8 in round 5, a rarely used word called ARSEHOLE....

3rd Numbers Alt.: (((6 x 3) + 75) x 10) + (4 x 2) = 938
4th Numbers Alt.: (25 x 10) - 50 + 5 + 3 = 208
