We have two new contestants today after Jonathan Wynn became an octochamp yesterday. And I believe that the presence of apterites does not end yet, as apterite Matty Artell will be taking his chance today. Can he do what Jonathan's done, starting with a win today?

Join Tracey for the recap later.

CINEASTES in round 2. I didn't get the other beater in the studios without the aid of Zubair's phone.

FWIF, It was very nearly Thomas Carey, who the crew were set to film answering it, only for someone to point out that he was recording the following day, so they gave the opportunity to another guy instead.

Well done Matty, good start, hopefully more to come.

It is now in the ODO but as it's invalid on apterous, I assume it must be one of many thousands of recently added words and would not have been valid at the time of recording.

That was indeed the reason for my mirth - schadenfreude, as Tom had been going on about getting a mug for ages, so I was laughing at his misfortune :P
Thanks!

Today's conundrum solution was the second one in a row that they've stolen from CoC XI.
