Round 1: E O A E L N S T P
James: ANTELOPES (18)
David: ANTELOPES (18)
Score: 18–18 (max 18)
Whoop! A lot of Co finals are full of very short words, but not Bristol as the players
leap off to an 18 point start with the 9-letter Darren.
Round 2: C K W B A I I L D
James: BLACK (5)
David: BLACK (5)
DC: ALCID, ALIBI, CILIA, ILIAC (5)
Score: 23–23 (max 23)
A black selection indeed.
Round 3: 100, 1, 4, 4, 3, 5. Target: 761.
James: 761. (100-5)x(4+4)+1 (10)
David: 761. (100-5)x(4+4)+1 (10)
Score: 33–33 (max 33)
A straightforward numbers game for both, and the players are still tied.
Round 4: R P G M O I A O A
James: POGROM (6)
David: POGROM (6)
DC: APORIA, PARAMO (6)
Score: 39-39 (max 39)
Just a few 6's in this one. The players settle for some ethnic cleansing.
Round 5: A O I D S H H E T
James: SHITHEAD (8)
David: HEADSHOT (8)
DC: HOTHEADS (8)
Score: 47-47 (max 47)

the first one as it was before the watershed.

James: 875.
David: 888. ((75 x 2) - 2 ) x ((100 + 50) / 25) (7)
Score: 47-54 (max 54)
James won the toss and elected to be player one, so David was the one here brave enough to pick four large.
It pays off for David as he find the best solution to get 4 away and earn himself the lead.
Round 7: G I R A N N I C O
James buzzes on 2 seconds to say INORGANIC, which is correct.

James: yodeler
David: URODELE (7)
DC: YIELDER (7)
Score: 57–61 (max 71)

written down which unfortuantely lacks a second "L".
A urodele is any member of the newt and salamander family.

James: SORRIER (7)
David: ORRERIES (8)

James: 251. (75 + 5) x 3 + 6 + 5 (10)
David: 251. (75 + 5) x 3 + 6 + 5 (10)

James: ESTEME (6)
David: ESTEME (6)
DC: MENTEES (7)
