Another coronation day is upon us. Laurence Killen is on the verge of becoming the fifth octochamp of the series. Win or lose, he is almost certainly going to stay at number 5, unless he puts in a massive performance today. Regardless of win or loss, he will also be in the finals for sure, but I suspect he'd like a win. Will he get it?

Join Callum for the recap later.

Trick on the second numbers was to save the 6 and make 23 with the other four smalls.

No beaters today, but an exciting ending. Robert deserved to win a few.

Was it me or were all Laurence's 4L games fairly easy? Not a 937.5 method in sight!

I've just seen how to do that now. ((7-3)×8-9)×25+6. Pretty nasty though. I gave up on that and went Rachel's much cleaner route.

Other than the one-away only game on Friday: Best: 945 = ((75 × 25 + 1) ÷ (100 ÷ 50)) + 7

Nice octorun there, great consistency with numbers in particular :)

I would have thought Rachel's solve was the standard method.

Just caught up. Congrats to Laurence on a strong octorun, particularly on the numbers. Tough final game, though and Robert was a very capable player, as already mentioned. We're set for a high quality line up for the finals.
