Welcome back to spoilers from an American guy, now for series 70! Let's see what I've been given. Well, Bobby Banerjee won against a 5 time champ yesterday, let's see if he can get a second.

Join one of our newest recappers, Series 69 champion Callum Todd, in action later.

I don't know what Susie was expecting to find when looking up QUAINTER saying she was sure it would be fine. Unless it specifically said the comparative was something else. Which it wouldn't have done. I still don't think she fully gets how the dictionary works. (Yeah sorry, it's old Gevin.)

Last numbers - 50×(25-7+1)-8-4=938.

Also while I'm here I beat DC with PEONAGE in a round somewhere.

Of course she doesn't actually look anything up unless she needs to pencam it. She simply has to drag out time
until the gallery come back with the yes or no in her earpiece.

I thought they had the 7 when John said VIDEOES but he said it was only 6 so he had VIDEOS.

I got the last numbers quick too so all that dancing must have affected Rachel!

FUGLIEST for another beater in round 10. I saw VIDEOES as soon as they mentioned VIDEOS but not in the 30 seconds.

Knew 938 was 134 x 7, and wasted some time, but then found :

((25+1) x 4) + 7 = 111; 111 x 8 = 888; 888 + 50 = 938

GEISHAS in round 1, ISOPRENE in round 5 and OSTERIA in round 13.

3rd Numbers Alt.: ((50 - 5 - 4) x 7) + 4 = 291

Bizarrely, I was thinking of conundrums while at work today, and NETWORKED was one of them, although I had DONETWERK as the anagram, which is actually a rubbish anagram when you think about it............ :P

Yup, 19 x 50 - 12 for the last numbers was my way too and I'd have 'almost' laid odds on RR seeing it before the end. Good thing I didn't!

Was good to see a winning 7 with only one vowel in it too, to be cancelled out by a "5-vowels-with-a-Y-already-there" pick in the very next round ;)

Steady. Last time you tried this everyone left and set up a new forum. And quite unfair. She had to check it was an adjective, that it was not pronounced as two syllables, and that the comparative was not specified as MORE QUAINT. You did get the impression she hadn't seen anything but RUMINATE herself, was caught by surprise, said the wrong thing, and decided just to carry on rather than go for a re-take.

Same, except my scramble was TWERKEDON.
