Michael McLaughlin is now a two game winner, he'll need to win some more though to try to make the finals, with how tough this series has been. Can he get a third?

No I only got 8 with DEMERITS. Nor did I get the insane 7 in the following (CARDIO/CORVID) round.
Seems 842 is nearest on the impossible numbers (I was pleased in the end for 849).
Last numbers alt ((4x50)-6)x5-2=968.

Yeah, I guess almost everyone picks 4 vowels with that sort of selection, so we won't ever get to see it in apto-chat as a 9 teaser. And you know it's obscure when it's not a listed conundrum.

I think I'm right (or at least pretty close in saying that (discarding finals), Michael's score of 34 is the 3rd lowest in a 15-rounder for someone who has was a champion.
SATRAP in round 2, GENTLE/GLUTEN in round 4 and HERITOR in round 11.

Presumably when you put this but don't say that they're beaters, you mean they're equallers? You should say!
