A bit more info - Game 1: Kirk maxed it bar the final numbers game.
Game 2: I chickened COLUMBITE before we both pencilled SPEARWORT
Also, I've knocked Rex down to 2193 from 2220-odd for you, Kirk
I'll leave the last few points to you.

It's just a web-based front to an e-mail address, Howard - so whatever you send just gets sent to the e-mail address they have registered on apterous, whilst remaining secure as you don't get to see the e-mail address. So them receiving it depends on them checking their e-mail, and has nothing to do with the apterous website itself. The e-mail they receive is addressed as from your registered e-mail address so that they can reply via regular e-mail.

Speed Daemon result:

I was slightly disappointed to miss a 9 (LITREAGES) and even more disappointed to chicken a pencil (ROWBOATS), but I can't complain really as I scored in every round and this was way better than the other Speed Daemon games that I've played. Lesley played well too even though she won't admit it. 8 maxes and just behind on the conundrum is very good for a speed game.

All three games very close, two going to crucial conundrums, and the other only settled during the final numbers game.
In fact, I left thinking I'd lost the third game. It was only when putting the scores up here that I realised that I'd actually won it.
