Oh right and I didn't think there would be one

I must admit though I am not a football fan, so would never have known that

Of course I wouldn't fail, I would succeed.
I would succeed to tell you that my birthday is on the first day of Fall 1986.

Whose 1986th fall occurred on the day of your birth? Other than that, what date was it on? Perhaps you could tell us in a more cryptic way by telling us which season it was in and on what day of that season - e.g. the first day of autumn in 1986 (but not that obviously, unless it's a massive coincidence).

Nobody fell on September 22, 1986, but I have an interesting fact about my date of birth.
September 22 marks the day in which only 100 days remain in any calendar year.

Is that including the 22nd? Because I make that 101. If you got up on September 22nd and thought "Aha, there's only 100 days remaining in this calendar year!" then you would be wrong, because you're not counting the day you're in. You would need to try to say it exactly on the stroke of midnight on the 22nd, just before the 23rd started. Of course, you could never do this, as it would require timing down to the tiniest split second (and also, you would have to say the entire sentence in an infinitesimally short period of time to be truly accurate).
All that notwithstanding, I think you should try to do just that on your birthday this year, Jason. I for one wish you luck in this foolish and ultimately unsatisfactory endeavour and will be thinking of you on the day.

As of that day, there are 100 days left in the calendar year, yes.

Cheers lads! Being the working class boy that I am it's a Chinese and a night at the dogs to celebrate, it's also a mate's fortieth so should be a good night.

Perhaps it may not be a good following morning [/nauseous emoticon]

As well as my mate, it's also my aunt's birthday and a few old school friends too. A lot of people appear to like doing the nasty on August 17th. A popular birthday date in Ireland has traditionally been December 17th for some unknown reason.
