Thank you all for the kind messages. Emma treated me to a fab day from start to finish (Yes you know how
) She also bought me lots of nice things including a day out paintballing for 4, which I've never tried but am looking very much forward to after exams. We watched Countdown (hobviously!), had a family meal at home then to top it all off went bowling. Simple pleasures but right now I feel like the happiest person alive

I don't really like this topic but Mrs Kai is awesome so I'll make an exception. Hope you're having a good one, and that your delightfully obedient sons brought you breakfast in bed and all that.

Thanks for all the birthday messages. I've had a lovely day and am going out for a slap up meal this evening. Dan, Kai is saving his karaoke for the weekend at CoLin, and no Charlie, none of my "delightfully obedient" boys brought me breakfast in bed this morning - Kai set his alarm (which woke me up early) and then promptly went back to sleep - I guess that's boys for you!

*~*~* Belated Happy Birthday Naomi *~*~*
I hope you had a wonderful day and enjoyed your slap up meal.
(A term that always makes me think of the Scottish cartoon strips The Broons and Oor Wullie, if anyone's familiar with them.
)

A little bit maybe - probably on a par with a mass welcomings in the introduction thread. So while I'm here, happy birthday to everyone for when your birthday is, every time it occurs!

BTW, I don't see why those who don't like this thread complain. The subject title is obvious, so why not simply ignore it??

Many do ignore it Julie. My own birthday slipped by on Friday 30th completely unnoticed.

Hey thanks
What I meant was writing it in numerical English form... like DD/MM/YY... making a cheap dig at the American incompetance with dates
But oh well... I'll try harder next time lol
