I asked ChatGPT to do a Bayesian probability thing on this and it came up with 83.5% to 99.8% chance of a conspiracy. It did a bit of a disclaimer afterwards but ChatGPT is never wrong.Gavin Chipper wrote: ↑Tue Aug 20, 2024 9:06 pm I wasn't sure whether to put this here on in the conspiracy theory thread (if there is one).
You're probably aware that this billionaire Mike Lynch has gone missing after the yacht he was on sank. He was also in the news recently after being tried in America over some alleged fraud (dodgy extradition laws - separate story), but he got found not guilty and complained about having to be rich to clear his name. It seems a bit of a coincidence but maybe not enough to raise suspicions that much. But then it was in the news today that his co-defendant in the trial, Stephen Chamberlain, has been hit and killed by a car while out running.
It all now adds up to more than a bit of a coincidence. Maybe we could try and work out the most likely cause of this chain of events using some sort of mathematical process. By the way, the name of the yacht is the Bayesian.
