I made a brief appearance on Channel 4's The Hotel last night (Series 2 Episode 4). Go to 38 mins on Sky + or 29 mins on 4OD. Just after the mussels are served, you will see me (bald head) to the right of the 2 Welsh guys the programme is focussing on. (I would post an image but I don't have the technical knowledge how to do this).

As part of our family holiday last summer, we stayed in a hotel up the road and ate in the Inn @ The Grosvenor one night. We had no idea they were filming a fly on the wall documentary until a producer came out and warned us what they were doing. Up to that point, I just thought they had an OTT CCTV system to make sure nobody nicked the cutlery.

Please form an orderly queue for autographs ............ but I made another appearance on tonight's episode of The Hotel on Channel 4.

Me, my wife Julie and my 2 youngest daughters Georgina and Gabriella can be seen at the back of the restaurant just after the Torquay restaurant reviewers come in (46 mins on Sky + or 37 mins on 4OD). Perhaps Ryan could do the honours with another still.

Next week, I will be appearing in the new series of Fat Club. Ha ha!!

Congraulations, Philip, for sneaking into another episode! :)

Well, if such appearances count, I'm very briefly shown in the audience of the QI Indecision episode. I'm clapping like a performing seal, second from top left of the screen inbetween 2 of my children (Philip and Claire), after an American woman behind us answered a question.

I have a website.

If this were 1995, it would have animated american roadworks gifs and an "under construction!" banner. Probably for the next few years.

EDIT: My apparent inability to make this link work is wonderfully ironic.

Lose the quote marks around the actual url in the tag (i.e. so it just says url=this.com rather than url="this.com")

It's a guy called Steven Fisher who does it, he does all the graphics for Jeff's CO-events, and has done us one for COHUD too.

Basically fans of the show play 3 round (1L, 1N and 1C) over 7 days, and the winner is the winner. No prize except pride, but well cool.

I actually got sent the stuff back in December, but I was told it was gonna be around Easter that it would be shown, as you can guess by some of the conundrums later in the week.

I didn't know who my opponent was until I saw it just now, but he seems half-decent so far. 8-)

I assumed it was just made up games. What stuff did you get sent in December, and how does this actally work?

Basically, you get sent the 21 rounds for the week, then you send back your answers. As simple as that. :)

Are you told to spend 30 seconds on each round, or is it as long as you want?

Edit - and do you have to say how long it took you to get the conundrum?

Yes, 30 seconds per round.
Yes, you do have to put down how long you took to get the conundrum.

In a word - No. Why, after 2 months, did you feel it necessary to respond in this way? What have I done to upset you? Let me remind you of the first time you had an interchange with me:

WTF has happened since then? Why have you subsequently felt the inclination to make obscure/non related/derogatory remarks on occasions when I make a comment?

I am perplexed.

Nah, supposedly this "Charlie Reams" created this forum, hung around loads in the early days adding cool stuff to it and dishing out rules and punishments and shit, and then disappeared and you don't hear jackshit from him anymore. I'd say James nailed it.

Eddy Byrne was on Celebrity Gogglebox yesterday. First time I've ever purposely watched any of it, celebrity or otherwise. How did that ever get commisioned?

"Yeah, so we show some people watching TV shows that were on during the week."

"That's it?"

"Yeah, I imagine they'll probably say some stuff but basically."

"What if they watch Gogglebox? Will it create a paradox?"

"Nah, they won't watch that shit. Won't come up."
