Spoilers For Monday October 4th 2010
Welcome to the 13th week of Countdown: Series 63. This series is already shaping up to be a really exciting one and now with places starting to be filled, are we in for any more octochamps in the near future
Michael Chadwick is in the champions' chair after deposing of Heather Driver on Friday. Will he join Eoin & Daniel (that's confirmed, by the way) in the finals. A bit early to say, but maybe a good performance today could silence the doubters.
Back in DC for his 2nd stint is Jeff's co-Soccer Saturday summariser and Southampton F.C. legend (so will go down well in the Corby household), Matt Le Tissier.
Ryan will be recapping later.

I think you mean Round 6, Liam. Round 5 is a numbers game.Liam Tiernan wrote:EPONYMS as an equaller rd 5
Nice gentle game today. Good to see Phill return as well. Bit of shame that he lost again.
Was on for a max game until missing LOUSEWORT at Round 13.
If Jeff had added the F to UNDIES, there'd have been FUNDIES in Round 3.
BUNION and NOUNAL in round 8.

Really wanted a P at the end of round 6 because my mum shouted out PSEUDONYM after 8 letters and she usually gets words that weren't there.

In round 2, I was convinced I had "batshit" as in "batshit insane". Surprised it isn't in.

Unlucky. I believe this will be valid from next series, along with SHITSTORM, ASSHAT and ASSLOAD, although JACKSHIT is on the way out.Graeme Cole wrote:In round 2, I was convinced I had "batshit" as in "batshit insane". Surprised it isn't in.

I don't think I've ever heard anyone say "batshit insane". Is it just me?Graeme Cole wrote:In round 2, I was convinced I had "batshit" as in "batshit insane". Surprised it isn't in.

Re: Spoilers For Monday October 4th 2010
Google Instant (TM) suggests "batshit insane" and "batshit crazy" when you type "batshit" and they both turn up a lot of results, so they definitely have currency. I've heard it a lot although it's mainly an American phrase as far as I know.Gavin Chipper wrote:I don't think I've ever heard anyone say "batshit insane".
