Spoilers For Wednesday August 11th 2010
The middle of the week has arrived, and Tom has now reached half-octochampdom, after finally breaking 3 figures yesterday.
Can he make it a fantastic 5 today
I'm recapping today, but it'll be delayed to late tonight or tomorrow, since I'm off to Headingley to see the cricket match between Yorkshire & Gloucestershire.

Oh I well am.Jon Corby wrote:You don't seem particularly excited about thisJames Robinson wrote:I'm recapping today, but it'll be delayed to late tonight or tomorrow, since I'm off to Headingley to see the cricket match between Yorkshire & Gloucestershire.
Having said that, I've just looked at today's paper and it seem to suggest that today's show is a repeat.
EDIT: Thank god it isn't a repeat.

I said Tom would struggle but I did not say he would lose.

I thought this at the time too as I played it not so long ago but then I quickly forgot about it. This affects the outcome of the gameHugh Binnie wrote:sautee^?

By no means a regular Countdown viewer, but took the afternoon off (yes, seriously) to watch our mate Mossy take on Tom. I must say, it was a terrific little battle and our boy ran him desperately close. 88 must be a pretty high losing score is it not? Can't take it away from the other lad though, he was just a bit too good. It was the INLANDERS that did for him - terrific effort.
Hope you enjoyed the blazer - I'm sure Richard Whitely would have been nodding in approval in the great studio in the sky

Also, what was the end score, and what did the other player declare in the same round as Tom had SAUTEE/SAUTE?

Controversy! I wonder if the "losing" challenger will be allowed back on the show at a later date.

Dear oh dear. We're only 28 shows into this series and this is the 3rd declaration error already Luckily the other 2 didn't affect the results.
DRAGONET in round 12.

You've got to remember that if Tom had had sautee disallowed that the subsequent rounds would have panned put differently, so he probably would have still won anywayEoin Monaghan wrote:So Tom should have lost today!
