Retiral tomorrow
I finally retire from the fire brigade at 6pm tomorrow after 31+ years service - all operational. I always tried to make sure that the afternoon teabreak was due just when Countdown was on & I think I converted a few guys to fans on the shift but I am not sure whether it was to :
a) watch countdown
b) watch Rachel
c) a better option than drills.
Hopefully I might catch a bit more Countdown but it depends on where my next career move takes me.
Cheers

That's cool, congratulations and thanks for all the cats you've rescued from trees. Oh and the fires and stuff. But mainly the cats.

Once upon a time there was Matt vs. Charlie. Multiple posts were made, full of hilarity and popular comment that was likeable yet still appropriate.
Then DoD came along, posting everything twice to try and rape double likes off everything good he said like the newest like whore in town.

Re: Retiral tomorrow
Enjoy your retirement. Try not to do too much too - everyone I know who's retired seems to do exhausting amounts of socialising, working, etc. I'm sure it's easier to just stay employed!

I cannot believe I am called being a "like whore" by the biggest like whore in town; Charlie ftw!Matt Morrison wrote:Once upon a time there was Matt vs. Charlie. Multiple posts were made, full of hilarity and popular comment that was likeable yet still appropriate.

Edit: shit, I wished I'd said it's an internal server error (caused by your hacking) whereby you'd hoped (by double liking me) to recruit an unpopular forum member into liking every post you post (in an attempt to bolster their rather shoddy popularity).

Re: Retiral tomorrow
I first read this thread title as RETRIAL tomorrow, and was wondering what on earth you'd been up to Davy.
But now I've read it properly, I wish you a great final day, and many years of blissful leisure to follow.
