Da Vinci Code, or what?
Cast your mind back to election day, 6th May 2010. James Robinson's Countdown summary clearly states: "Welcome to just about the only place today which is a guaranteed No-Election Zone. So, enjoy, before election fever spreads."
And yet, what do we find buried in Round 7? Dictionary Corner offers CONDEMN - a clear reference to the forthcoming formation of the Con-Dem government
As if this was not enough the selection also includes the word CODE: proof, if further proof were needed, of a mysterious and unexplained link between the Countdown Letters Selection Team and the dark forces which rule our lives
So let us examine the complete collection of Round 7 letters: M D C N E O N A G
What else can we learn? "Gad! Con men" and "Cam gone ND" (not too sure what that means, but it's bound to be significant).
I think the case (whatever it might be) is proved.

Edit: Hang on, you may have a point here. looking through that recap I found FATSOES, SULKERS, UNDEAD, WHINER, TWITS, TRIPPY, RAZOOS and to top it all off the conundrum was SCOUNDREL. (very topical, Damian). OK, nice cross-section of back-bench types there. Have you got examples from other significant dates to back up this theory? And what do you propose to do if it pans out. (Maybe you should write a letter to your MP). Is this the real reason Kirk wanted to sack the shuffler last week? Does he know something we don't? Jeez, this paranoia stuff is catching.

It takes time to develop important theories like these.Ryan Taylor wrote:You waited over 2 years to post this shit?

I love this. It's got a good balance of mental and mental.

Ignore him Graham, gingers are notoriously bad-tempered.

Not yet - I don't want to spoil a good conspiracy theory by over-researching it.Liam Tiernan wrote: Have you got examples from other significant dates to back up this theory?
