Interesting factoid: (no, actually this is a fact, because I just had it confirmed from Mauro) Davina was sitting in the champion's chair, despite Paul being the current champion at the beginning of the game.
Let's all wonder together why that was.

Note that on none of the round are there some OT's.
There clearly must be some. GRASPED in Round 1 is a good example.

It wasn't until part-way through Series 37 that the champion always sat on the left. Up until then, they remained in the seat in which they started their run, although they occasionally swapped seats (which typically coincided with a change in recording day).Derek Hazell wrote:Interesting factoid: (no, actually this is a fact, because I just had it confirmed from Mauro) Davina was sitting in the champion's chair, despite Paul being the current champion at the beginning of the game.

I may well be remembering incorrectly, but I seem to recall that contestants swapped seats in the event of a replay following a drawn game.Mike Brown wrote:It wasn't until part-way through Series 37 that the champion always sat on the left. That certainly wasn't usually the case, and a quick flick through the record confirms that. In fact, I couldn't find a single instance, although I didn't look ultra-hard, to be honest.Howard Somerset wrote:I may well be remembering incorrectly, but I seem to recall that contestants swapped seats in the event of a replay following a drawn game.
